Baby Steps forward
Research studies have proven that success is sturdier and more likely to last if taken in very small steps. That’s why we advocate baby steps to BellyBusting such as switching to soya milk or having water in your cereal instead of milk.
TINY changes in your daily routine can help you feel better and move around more comfortably, and in time, often these tiny changes combine to bring a bigger change and a smaller YOU.
“Manageable” is a good keyword to have when planning your BellyBusting baby steps, like building up your exercise sessions in units of three minutes, or even doing three minute exercise sessions! Aiming to lose just ONE pound a week can often lead to greater weight loss.
“Balance” is another good keyword to take into account when planning your BellyBusting baby steps, because food plans and weight loss are just ONE aspect of your busy life and if you start making plans which encompass your life, you’ll just end up giving up because you can’t go on.
Start by planning one small change and give yourself a week to implement that, before moving on to another.
No item of preparation will work for everyone, but we hope there is something here which will work for each individual. All we ask is that you give things a try, and that you practice them over and over before judging whether they suit you.
