Using What You Know About Yourself
to Help you Lose Weight
Almost all of us know what to do to lose weight, but doing it can still be difficult.
Setting a goal is easy. Making plans to get there is a little more difficult. Keeping to the plans and reaching the goal are the really difficult parts.
Which is more difficult for you, keeping to the plans you have made, or reaching your goal?
Your environment consists of certain risks for you, which we know as triggers: Triggers for over-eating.
Which areas in your house, for instance, carry a greater risk for you to over-eat there?
What can you do to change those places to make over-eating less likely or more difficult?
If you sit on one specific chair in the lounge, for instance, would moving the tables further away stop you hoarding food there?
Would placing your favourite crafts on the tables nearest your chair stop you reaching for foods?
